I had an ‘86 Celebrity Classic in high school. Carriage roof, floor shifter, blue velour, 2.8 V6 carbueted. 0-60 in 18 seconds or so, 14 mpg. With 63,000 miles on the odometer that miserable, wheezy 2.8 tossed a rod with no warning on a warm startup. GM made great cars in the ‘80s.

My dad had a white ‘84 like this. The Eurosport was never t out yet but he ordered every option to make it like one. We kept it for 8 yrs and it had just under 200k on it. Only issues I remember were the A/C going out several times and some issues with one of the doorhandles.
